Creating and integrating on-line identification keys to Australian animals, plants and fungi.

Background

The aim of this project is to create and mobilize interactive identification tools for use on the internet. There are two broad areas of activity:

• Creating new keys - primarily the key to insect families (TRIN funded) and a proposed key to plant genera (currently unfunded).
• Migrating existing keys - moving existing keys from CDROM to an on-line environment.
